Argentina Visa for Chilean Citizens

Chilean citizens do not need a visa to visit Argentina. The permitted stay is up to 90 days. Visa not required 90 days National ID card accepted. Chileans can live and work legally in Argentina under the Mercosur (and Associated Members) immigration agreement with no requirement other than being a citizen at birth or a naturalized citizen for over 5 years, and passing a background check. Visitors are fingerprinted (Right thumb fingerprint) and photographed upon entry. Updated July 2026.
