Indian citizens need a visa to visit Pakistan. The permitted stay is up to See notes. Admission restricted Visa issuance and travel heavily restricted after 2025 Pahalgam Attack. Visa not required for Pilgrims visiting Shri Kartarpur Sahib (since 2019, closed after the Pahalgam attack). Sikhs (Indian passport holders) living outside India and holding a right to live in a 3rd country can apply for e-visa under special Pilgrim category on Nadra website. Updated July 2026.
